Shannon grew up in Sacramento, CA, and began taking tap with her older brothers when she was four years old. She had the privilege to train in tap, jazz, ballet, cheer and hip-hop under the instruction of Ron Cisneros, Bobbi Bader, Connie Mockenhaupt, and Sunni Smith. She danced in her studio's and school's dance and cheer teams through her high school and college years until her focus changed to having and raising her three beautiful children.

Shannon is a WCWMA 2nd-degree black belt and was a martial arts instructor for three years before she returned to the performing arts. She has taught performing arts to children in the Ogden area since 2014 and has been part of the JMBS family since 2016. She has been a certified PBT instructor since 2018. Shannon is honored and excited to be a part of JMBS students' dance journeys and hopes to continue to nurture and educate for many years!
