Creative Dance develops musicality, self expression, movement exploration, creativity, locomotor and non-locomotor skill development, and coordination. There are 8-10 students in a creative class with two teachers. Children are developing pre-ballet skills in an age appropriate curriculum. Children think they are playing when in fact they are learning to dance. LOTS OF FUN!

Girls: Pink leotard, pink convertible tights, black tap shoes, dance bag, and dance skirt (optional).
Boys: Black lycra shorts (not baggy), short sleeved, white T-shirt or tank, black tap shoes, and dance bag.

Beginning tap classes are only offered with ballet. Students need black tap shoes, black leotard, and pink tights for Beg. classes and tan tights for Int. through Adv. classes. A tap skirt or black jazz pants is optional for Int.-Adv. students.

                            Jazz

          Beginning Jazz(Ages 9-11)........1 hour
          Note: Beginning Jazz students must
                     have completed Beginning Ballet III

          Intermediate Jazz I-III.............1 1/2 hours

Students need black jazz shoes, solid colored leotard and black jazz pants. Hair must be pulled back.

Additional classes and workshops are offered on a request and need basis. The studio offers dance conditioning, Ballet stretching, Pilates, Ballroom, Hip-Hop, and Modern. Please call the studio for specific classes offered.

                    Summer Dance

Two week summer sessions are offered for beginning
dancers June 14-25 and July12-23.
Beginning IV through Advanced I classes are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday beginning June 14
through July 29.

Adult classes are also offered in the summer. Beginning Ballet, Int. Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
